History: The eMate 300 was the only Newton with built-in keyboard. It actually rather looked like a PowerBook than a Newton Message Pad. Nonetheless it ran Newton OS. Apple limited the eMate 300 to the educational market. It sold brilliantly and once the eMate gained positive press the other Newtons started to sell well, too.
